Any pupil displaying any signs or symptoms (no matter how short-lived) after a head injury should be suspected as having sustained a concussion. After initial assessment pitch-side they should be transferred to the medical centre to be kept under observation by the nursing team and reviewed by the duty doctor at the end of the session.
